YourLink Wireless Digital Television Services
Since 2003, YourLink had been supplying Wireless Digital Television to customers after purchasing Image Wireless. Image Wireless provides "Cable" television services to the a major portion of the populated portions of Saskatchewan via a Multichannel Multipoint Distribution System, or MMDS in short. MMDS is a microwave broadcast which can bring digital pictures and cd-quality stereo sound to your home regardless of where you live. While wired systems such as telephone and traditional cable systems still require you to live in larger urban areas, MMDS removes this limitation. And, unlike satellite systems, it is fully two-way, allowing for interactive services such as high-speed internet.
Please note: As of May 2009, YourLink made the decision to continue serving and servicing existing Wireless Digital Television customers, though we are not taking on any new customers at the moment.
